Out in Public (OiP) operates as a SIG (Student Interest Group) within the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and welcomes LGBTQIA+ identifying students as well as allies!
OiP is committed to advancing equity for LGBTQIA+ individuals through the acknowledgment and support of intersectional identities and experiences. OiP is focused on fostering meaningful relationships through volunteer engagement opportunities; arts & culture events that bring visibility to the past, present, and future of the LGBTQIA+ movement; and intimate discussions with public service leaders that raise the voices of our community. We support those that face discrimination based on who they are, advocate equity and justice for the queer community, and stand united against hate.
